My name is Keziah Ezinne Ojika.

 

This summer I'm starting a program called Najia Explorers for all the children ages 5-12 in the community. The aim of this program is to get kids away from the TV and out of the house during the summer at an affordable price for the parents. The program will start on June 21st, 2010 and run until August 12th, 2010. The kids will get to participate in fun activities such as trips to the Zoo, the Children’s Museum, bowling, a farm, plays at local libraries and many more. The children will be supervised by older girls in the community as well as two parents on all field trip days. It’ll be a great opportunity for the kids to learn while they play with their peers.

Each day begins at 10am and ends at 5pm, Monday-Thursday. Parents can drop their children off in the morning or a staff member can pick them up from anywhere. Transportation is provided on all fieldtrips.

Lunch, snacks, and drinks will also be provided throughout the day.

The cost is $35 a week per child.
